ANNOUNCEMENT:

We are offering Module 1A in Summer 2020 and 1 Interim in Fall 2020!

Module 1A (40 hours) – Remote live classes via Zoom
Mon – Fri, June 1st – 12th, 2020 (10 weekdays)
2 classes per day: 12pm – 2pm EST (1st session), 3pm – 5pm EST (2nd session)

Module 1 interim (10 hours)* – Remote live classes via Zoom
2.5 hours on a weekend, once a month in Sep, Oct, Nov, and Dec.
* Schedule TBD

Module 1B (70 hours) – Studio in NYC
9am – 6pm, January 3rd – 12th, 2021 (January 8th off)

    • Application Deadline for Modules 1A-B: May 15, 2020

Looking to the Future: Several Modules will be offered in 2021 and 2022

Module 2A (56 hours) – Studio in NYC
9am – 6pm, January 14th – 20th, 2021

Module 2 interim (16 hours)* – Remote live classes via Zoom
4 hours on a weekend, once a month in Feb, Mar, Apr, and May.

Module 2B (48 hours) – Studio in NYC
9am – 6pm, June 2nd – 7th, 2021

    • Registration Deadline for Modules 2A-B: Oct 31, 2020  

Module 3 (120 hours) – Studio in NYC
9am – 6pm, June 9th – 23rd, 2021 (Tentative)

Module 4 (120 hours) – Studio in NYC * Schedule TBD Winter, 2022

 

Program Costs:

  • Module I: $4,000
  • Module II: $4,000
  • Module III: $4,000
  • Module IV: $4,000
  • Final Project Advising Fee: $1,000

A deposit of $750 is due upon acceptance and that is taken off the payment for the Module.

NOTES

Prerequisite:

All applicants for the LIMS® Certification Program in Laban Movement Studies are required to complete their study in the three introductory courses–Introduction to Laban Movement Analysis, Introduction to Bartenieff Fundamentals, and Introduction to Anatomy & Kinesiology–before joining the program. Advancing from Mod I to Mod II:

Mod I students are eligible to continue to Mod II in the same summer if they successfully meet all the requirements of Mod I.
